The sun is shining directly into room #5 - just the way my baby likes it. I think God is talking to her. I can't think about the next 2 days, rather just the "right now." And, right this very minute, my Sweet Charlotte is hanging on against all odds. Just the fact that she didn't require to be on bypass during her surgery was truly an AMAZING FEAT.
As one of my dear friends said, she is fighting with a strength beyond understanding. I am not sure what the future holds but what I do know is that no matter what, our God is GOOD and His hands are all over everything miraculous which we witnessed today. Right down to the hands that performed her surgery.
We are still praying for all of you as your family walks through this journey. My heart was lifted to hear her surgery this afternoon went well and we will continue to pray for her progress.
ReplyDeleteAMEN, Sarah...God is GOOD! I know every moment ahead of us uncertain. But as you know, as we ask for God to continue to heal Charlotte, we remember to thank Him for every miracle along the way. Enjoying THIS moment is a the perfect way to do that. So, do just that. Laugh, smile with sweet Charlotte. Take joy in the fact that there's a plan in place, a plan that God created for you, for Patrick, and for the miracle that is Charlotte. May you be filled with peace and continue to feel love of all those thinking of you and praying for you!
